Pretty Green Is the iconic Rock & Roll Designer Cothing around at the moment. The name comes from a song written by Paul Weller when he was in the The Jam, and shows just the amount of respect the founder of the label, Liam Gallagher, has for his hero. Weller, of course, was instrumental in the 'mod' revival era of the late 70's and 80's, strong influences of this can be seen in the design of the collection of Pretty Green Clothing.
Liam himself was a major part of the 'Cool Britannia' movement of the 1990's, the swaggering style, arrogance and rasping vocals as lead singer of Oasis were matched, in part, by the outfits he wore on stage, and the trouble he got into off it. For 14 years Oasis ruled the roost, and Liam Gallagher was hardly a week out of the tabloid headlines. As the band settled into the 21st century the arguments with brother Noel began to get worse, so Liam looked to other avenues to channel his time and passion, and thus the label Pretty Green was born.
From the very start Gallagher promised that Pretty Green wouldn't produce any item of clothing that he wouldnt personally wear himself.
Pretty Green Jackets are prominent in the collection including Pretty Green Parkas, which Liam often sports on stage when singing with new band Beady Eye. Complimenting the outerwear range is a selection of Pretty Green Polo Shirts and Pretty Green Shirts which look fantastic when coupled with a pair of dark denim jeans.
