MEN'S KEY TRENDS: AUTUMN/WINTER 2019.
Like for most men, blowing money on building up a wardrobe is a luxury that can prove quite tricky, keeping on top of each season’s new menswear trends without rendering yourself bankrupt at least twice a year is a feat to accomplish.Thankfully, for Autumn/Winter 2019, several of 2018’s key trends continue to dominate the list of what’s current.
1) Black & Gold
2018 saw numerous designers opt for black and gold statement looks which made a refreshing change to the minimalist patterns and colours that have inundated menswear over the past few years. Black & Gold is a tried and tested colour combo proven to stand the fashion test of time.

2) Cross-Body Belt Bags
The humble Cross-Body bag offers the perfect balance between fashion and function: through it's very design it becomes more of an intrinsic part of an outfit in 2019. This trend gained steam through festival season, meaning more teens are ditching the backpacks and holdalls and picking up the Cross-Body bag.

3) Loud Branding.
Armani! Hugo! McQ! Versace! The fashion world has renewed it's love affair with the logo for Autumn/Winter 2019 and its bigger, bolder and brasher than ever before. The need for loud, shouty branding fell out of sartorial favour in the late 1990's after maximalism reached fever pitch and a wealth of counterfeit goods saw it characterised as sauce and tacky, luckily loud branding has once again become a fan favourite and will continue to dominate the premium trends in 2019.
